Nome comum: Jasmim-dos-Poetas

Percorria ao anoitecer os jardins
da cidade à procura das flores
oficiais – sobem amparadas
e perfumam com a memória
do chá as ruas irregulares.
Levava uma tesoura de unhas,
insuficiente e desnecessária porque
não colhia nada que fosse vivo.
Restavam-me frases livres,
páginas dobradas, cadeiras desiguais
e os pratos vazios deixados
aos gatos.

O primeiro poema encontrei-o
numa dessas buscas
debaixo da árvore maior,
no ferro que sustenta a copa,
preso com uma mola da roupa.

joni de parabéns. entra vinda do frio.

Back in 1957 We had to dance a foot apart And they hawk-eyed us from the sidelines Holding their rulers without a heart And so with just a touch of our fingers I could make our circuitry explode All we ever wanted Was just to come in from the coldCome in Come in from the cold (we were so young) Oh come in Come in from the cold
We really thought we had a purpose We were so anxious to achieve We had hope The world held promise For a slave to liberty Freely I slaved away for something better And I was bought and sold And all I ever wanted Was just to come in from the cold
Come in Come in from the cold (we were so sure) Oh come in Come in from the cold
I feel your leg under the table Leaning into mine I feel renewed I feel disabled By these bonfires in my spine I don't know who the arsonist was Which incendiary soul But all I ever wanted Was just to come in from the cold
Come in Come in from the cold (you were so warm) Oh come in Come in from the cold
I am not some stone commission Like a statue in a park I am flesh and blood and vision I am howling in the dark Long blue shadows of the jackals Are falling on a pay phone by the road Oh all they ever wanted Was just to come in from the cold
Come in Come in from the cold (I was so low) Oh come in Come in from the cold
Is this just vulgar electricity Is this the edifying fire (it was so pure) Does your smile's covert complicity Debase as it admires (just a flu with a temperature) Are you just checking out your mojo (oohoo) Or am I just fighting off growing old (just a high fever) All I ever wanted Was just to come in from the cold
Come in Come in from the cold (it was so pure) Oh come in Come in from the cold
I know we never will be perfect Never entirely clear (when the moon shines) We get hurt and we just panic And we strike out Out of fear (you were only being kind) I fear the sentence of this solitude 200 years on hold (for my loving crime) Oh and all we ever wanted Was just to come in from the cold
Come in Come in from the cold (when the moon shines) Oh come in Come in from the cold
When I thought life had some meaning Then I thought I had some choice (I was running blind) And I made some value judgments In a self-important voice (I was outa line) But then absurdity came over me And I longed to lose control (into no mind) Oh all I ever wanted Was just to come in from the cold
Come in Come in from the cold (you were so kind) Please come in (so kind) Come in from the cold Come in come in Come in from the cold, etc.

festeja hoje setenta risonhos outonos

[estás na mesma, miúda...]

Ontem adormeceste, ainda
tínhamos as facas todas na boca
e três por abrir.
Ficou uma pousada
em equilíbrio geométrico
na linha dos lábios.
Não sei de quem eram
esses lábios de onde
o gume imóvel não deixava sair
as palavras duras
e, mais tarde, os pesadelos.
Outra, o cabo na minha mão,
esqueci-a antes da última
costela flutuante

I love my mother
I love my father
I love my sisters too

I bought this guitar
To pledge my love
To pledge my love to you

I am a rock
Bottom riser
And I owe it all to you

I saw a gold ring
At the bottom of the river
Glinting
At my foolish heart
Oh my foolish heart
Had to go diving
Diving diving
Into the murk

And from the bottom of the river
I looked up for the sun
Which had shattered in the water
And the pieces were raining down
Like gold rings
That passed through my hands
As I thrashed and grabbed
I started rising rising

I left my mother
I left my father
Left my sisters too
Left them standing on the banks
And they pulled me out
Of this mighty mighty river
I am a rock
Bottom riser
And I owe it all to you

Fragmentos Persas

Walked away released from all my crimes
Walked away released from all my crimes
But I could never hide what I kept inside
Walked away released from all my sins
Walked away released from all my sins
But the cruelest thing was all my suffering
When I held you that night, I knew it felt so right
I knew it felt so right
Walked away released from all my crimes
Walked away released from all my crimes
But I could never hide what I kept inside

3 ways to stop alligators from biting your bottom when you are on the toilet

1) Do not go during the rainy season.

2) If you must go, use only toilets in the first class sections of aeroplanes.

3) Using face paints, make your bottom so scary it will frighten them away.

Roger McGough

Well, now, there's two, there's two trains running
Well, they ain't never, no, going my way
Well, now, one run at midnight and the other one
Running just 'fore day
It's running just 'fore day
It's running just 'fore day
Oh Lord sure 'nough they is
Oh well

Mm mm, ho ho ho, somebody help me, ho, with these blues
Well, now, she's the one I'm loving, she's the one
I do hate to lose
I do hate to lose
I do hate to lose
Oh Lord, sure 'nough I do
Oh well

I been crazy; yes, I been a fool
I been crazy, oh, all of my life
Well I fell in love with a
With another man's wife
With another man's wife
With another man's wife
Oh Lord, sure 'nough I done
Oh well

Lord, she's so long and tall, till she weep like a willow tree
Well, now, they say she's no good, but she's all right
She's all right with me
She's all right, she's all right
She's all right, she's all right

Its coming on christmas
They're cutting down trees
They're putting up reindeer
And singing songs of joy and peace
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
But it dont snow here
It stays pretty green
I'm going to make a lot of money
Then I'm going to quit this crazy scene
I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I wish I had a river so long
I would teach my feet to fly
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I made my baby cry

He tried hard to help me
You know, he put me at ease
And he loved me so naughty
Made me weak in the knees
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I'm so hard to handle
I'm selfish and I'm sad
Now I've gone and lost the best baby
That I ever had
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I wish I had a river so long
I would teach my feet to fly
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I made my baby say goodbye

Its coming on christmas
They're cutting down trees
They're putting up reindeer
And singing songs of joy and peace
I wish I had a river
I could skate away on

alforria blues

sopraram-me ao ouvido:
escreva nos bastidores do vivo.

e eu senti a rasante do pássaro que vem me ver.

tom waits
anton corbijn

Outside another yellow moon
Has punched a hole in the nighttime, yes
I climb through the window and down to the street
I'm shining like a new dime
The downtown trains are full with all of those Brooklyn girls
They try so hard to break out of their little worlds

Well you wave your hand and they scatter like crows
They have nothing that will ever capture your heart
They're just thorns without the rose
Be careful of them in the dark
Oh, if I was the one you chose to be your only one
Oh baby can't you hear me now, can't you hear me now

Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
Every night it's just the same, you leave me lonely now

I know your window and I know it's late
I know your stairs and your doorway
I walk down your street and past your gate
I stand by the light at the four-way
You watch them as they fall, oh baby, they all have heart attacks
They stay at the carnival, but they'll never win you back

Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
Where every night, every night it's just the same, oh baby
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
All of my dreams they fall like rain, oh baby on a downtown train

Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
Where every night, every night it's just the same, oh baby
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
All of my dreams just fall like rain, all on a downtown train
All on a downtown train, all on a downtown train
All on a downtown train, a downtown train
